What are your most popular packages?

Can you combine the packages?

Yes, of course you can mix and match packages to suit you and your special day.

What’s included when we hire you?

Our one-of-a-kind tastefully decorated horsebox bar with all you could need for providing a professional bar service for your guests. That means glasses, ice, napkins, straws, garnishes, compostable coffee cups and lids, condiments, and bar utensils. Each booking includes professional servers for a minimum of two hours, plus set-up and breakdown of the bar. All our packages are customisable, check out our Popular Packages for more details.

What do we need for set-up on the day of the event?

Electricity is required to power the Horsebox Bar, the supply of which is to come from your venue. Please note this electricity supply is not the responsibility of The Irish Horsebox Bar. A generator can be provided as part of any of our packages, if required.

Is mileage included in package prices?

In all of our packages we include mileage within 50km of Swords, County Dublin.  Any additional kilometres to be travelled thereafter is charged at €0.70 cent per kilometre.

How long does set-up take?

As each booking is customised, the time allocated to set up differs depending on each package. However, our standard set-up and breakdown takes approximately one hour each side of the event.

How much is the deposit and do I pay in advance? When is the balance paid?

In order to secure your date, we require our completed booking form together with 50% booking deposit. We require the balance to be paid no later than 30 days prior to the event. Please get in touch with us here with your event date to check availability.

What if I need to cancel my booking?

Please note the booking deposit is non-refundable in the event you cancel our services.

Do you supply glasses and cups?

Yes, we can provide basic glassware, takeaway glasses, and compostable takeaway coffee cups for your package, see our most popular packages here. Specialist glassware can be arranged in addition to any of our packages, simply let us know your request when enquiring here.

Are you insured?

Yes, we are fully insured.

What are the dimensions of the Irish Horsebox Bar?

Please ensure you have sufficient space at your venue for the Irish Horsebox Bar. It is 13.8 ft in length from the towing hitch to the rear and 7.5 ft in width. We will need to be able to access the site with both the horsebox bar and vehicle for drop off, set up and collection. Please note, the bar access is on the left hand side of the horsebox (from the rear).

What if my numbers/restrictions change?

Of course, we are open to changes after a whirlwind year for everyone! If you require a change to your package conditions such as guest numbers, please get in touch asap and we will endeavour to accommodate your changes. Our offering starts from small, intimate events of 50 people, and can be scaled up depending on your needs, see more here. Please note, we cannot accommodate package changes within 14 days of your event.
